# Usage and audit log

> See how many requests each key has made and who changed what in an account.

## Usage {#usage}

`app.aggre.org/{handle}/usage` shows, for an account:

- requests **per day** over a period you choose (zero-filled, UTC days), and the total;
- consumption **per key**: its name, prefix and count over the period, set against its quota.

The same numbers are available to a program through the [accounts API](https://docs.aggre.org/api/accounts/reference.md) (`GET /v1/accounts/{handle}/usage?days=`) and, for the calling key only, through the data API (`GET /v1/whoami`). Counters are written in batches, so a figure can lag a few seconds.

What is recorded for each request is the time, method, matched route template, dataset id, HTTP status and request id. The query string, the row you looked at and your IP address are not recorded.

## Audit log {#audit}

`app.aggre.org/{handle}/activity` is the account's audit log, visible to **owners and admins**: key creation and revocation and organization changes. Each entry has the actor, the action, a short detail and the time.
